Born in England, jewelry designer Ian Gibson has spent many years traveling the world absorbing various cultural influences. Schooled in geology and petrology, his love of rocks and fossils was transformational in his exploration of metals. Being completely self taught in the jewelry arts has led him down paths and to conclusions that have garnered his work acclaim for its freshness and originality.  Ian's  wife Jessica works with him in their Philadelphia studio.
