Melanie Heinrich

I have been working as a Fine Artist since 1974 and have two masters degrees. I was the head of a university photography department for several years and retired to make art. During the process of earning my MFA I decided to branch out into three-dimensional art. Today I refer to myself as an interdisciplinary artist which includes photography, painting and fine crafts. I work with many different mediums and with many different organic materials such as stone, wood, metal, glass and more. Handscapes displays my granite trivets all hand made with chamfered edges sealed for use with food as well as image coasters that I make using my own photographs from around the world.
